Robin, a yeoman (or commoner), meets the lads that will one day be his Merry Men -- only please don't evoke that phrase -- while witnessing the death of his king (Danny Huston) and then a nobleman whose identity he assumes to escape across the Channel Download The Animatrix dvd. As we later find out, the blind Loxley remembers Robin as a child and recalls how super cool and brave Robin's dad was. This resolves a lot of Robin's daddy issues. Robin gets all empowered, decides to help the English battle the French, and shoots a couple of arrows at people so we don't forget he's actually Robin Hood. For a while there, I just thought he was Maximus lounging around in Nottingham after his favorite pet had died. Like most Pixar films, the story is cleverly and carefully crafted Download The Animatrix dvd. The ending is both moving and very deftly handled as the conflicts are resolved in a very humane and emotionally satisfying way Download The Animatrix dvd. The 3D effects are expertly handled as well (the first two Toy Story movies were recently re-released in 3D format as a prelude to this film). The animation is top-notch Download The Animatrix dvd. The evil bear is an awful lot like the evil prospector toy in the second film, and one trip in a dump truck would have been enough, let alone three trips Download The Animatrix dvd. The film does go through a lot of extra action sequences just to fill up time, but it is worth the wait for that exquisite ending Download The Animatrix dvd
